Designing a website

Website designing may be a difficult thing to do whether you are building your own personal website, or you are creating a website for your business. However, if you have the right knowledge and if you have the right software, then designing websites will be as easy as creating a word process document. There are some simple step you can follow to make your website designing easier.

Step One

Discuss with your partners what the content of your website will be. Making a diagram on how your website will look like is the best thing to do. In the diagram, you must include the navigational structures so that you will not get confused when you start with the ral things. By doing this, you will have an over view or a bigger idea on how your website will look like so that as you start your web design, you will have a guide on how it will look like.

Step Two

For your diagram, you can use a clean sketch paper for every page of your ideal website. Make sure you include in your sketch the graphics, the titles and the text you want your website to have. You can even use cut outs for this.

Step Three

Look for a software that is specially designed to create a multi-page website. People usually advice to get the simple web page editor, but the truth is a multi-page editor software is better. There are a lot of software like this in the market that you can buy for not more than a hundred dollars. After buying one, install the software on your computer.

Step Four

Explore and study the page and theme choices available in that software. Choose the ones that fits the diagram you have created in your sketch. If there are missing themes and page choices that are not present in your diagram, then you can download them or find an alternative that will still fit your ideal website.

Step Five

Use the website wizard on your software to input the information on your site. This will help you put the content you want your website to have. There are instructions in your software module or manual that will help you do this.

Step Six

when you have done all of the prior steps, you must then look at a preview of the website you have created on different browsers and different computers. This way, you will know if the website you have created is the ideal website you want in different browsers and computers.

Step Seven

If the preview of your website is the one you like from any browser and computer, then you can upload your site. Include all the page and graphics as you upload your website on your web host provider or web server.
